Aspire strength planning
One-rep max estimate.
Estimate maximum strength from a technically clean submaximal set without pretending an equation is a measured maximum or a population norm.

Estimate your 1RM.
Use 2-10 repetitions. Stop when technique changes and do not include assisted or forced repetitions.

Your One-Rep Max Estimate
Estimated 1RM:
How to use it
Use the range to plan training, then adjust from bar speed, technique and session readiness. Recalculate only from a clean set performed under comparable conditions.
Evidence
Equation estimate, not a normative test.
Epley and Brzycki estimates are lift- and repetition-dependent. A defensible normative comparison also requires the named lift, body weight, sex, age and a source population. Aspire will not attach generic “beginner-to-elite” labels to this result without that protocol-specific context.

Grip strength
Use a seated Handexer test with the elbow exactly 90 degrees, then compare the best result with international age- and sex-specific quintiles.
Take the testMaximum push-ups
Compare a strict maximum set with a public age- and sex-specific fitness benchmark, with protocol limitations shown.
Take the testOne-minute sit-to-stand
Use a fixed chair endpoint and compare repetitions with published age- and sex-specific percentiles.
